The ATrack protocol

The protocol of ATrack devices, a Taiwanese manufacturer with a reputation for solid build. You find it in machinery, construction and heavy vehicles, where the device takes a beating.

It is spoken by the AK, AX and AL families — AK7, AK11, AX7, AX9, AL7. The device is configured with commands, setting the SIM's APN and the server address.

Which port it comes in onOur server listens for the ATrack protocol on port 6044. That is the port you set on the device, together with the server address. Point it somewhere else and the data still leaves, but the server cannot read it.
Careful with what other sites tell youThis brand shows up when somebody has already been burned by cheap devices, so it usually arrives as a replacement. Before switching, confirm the lead time and whether there are spares in your country: it is not something you get overnight.
