The AVL-301 protocol

The protocol of the AVL-301 and AVL-302, budget-range vehicle trackers that circulate under several different brands because they are made to order.

They are configured by text message. They report position and basic vehicle status.

Which port it comes in onOur server listens for the AVL-301 protocol on port 6085. That is the port you set on the device, together with the server address. Point it somewhere else and the data still leaves, but the server cannot read it.
Careful with what other sites tell youHere <strong>the name on the box does not tell you who built it</strong>: the same hardware is sold under different labels. What decides whether it can be connected is the protocol, and that is confirmed from the IMEI, not the brand.
