The CarScop protocol

The protocol of CarScop devices, with the CCTR series — CCTR-620, CCTR-800 — Chinese budget-range trackers aimed at vehicles and battery-powered assets.

They are configured by text message, with the SIM's APN and the server address.

Which port it comes in onOur server listens for the CarScop protocol on port 6040. That is the port you set on the device, together with the server address. Point it somewhere else and the data still leaves, but the server cannot read it.
Careful with what other sites tell youIn this range quality varies between batches and copies circulate. <strong>Test one unit before buying quantity</strong>, and confirm the network generation: this is where most 2G equipment lingers, and that network has a switch-off date in every country.
