The Concox GT02 protocol

The protocol of Concox's GT02A and GT02D, the generation <strong>before</strong> the GT06. It is still very widespread because these devices sold in the tens of thousands.

Binary and configurable by text message, like the rest of the house. Today you normally meet it already installed rather than buying it new.

Which port it comes in onOur server listens for the Concox GT02 protocol on port 6022. That is the port you set on the device, together with the server address. Point it somewhere else and the data still leaves, but the server cannot read it.
Careful with what other sites tell youAlmost all of this installed base is from the <strong>2G era</strong>, and that network is being switched off country by country. It is not that the protocol stops working: the device loses the network it spoke over. Check which network yours use and warn the customer months ahead.

Is the GT02 older than the GT06?

Yes, it is the previous generation. It sold in the tens of thousands, so it is still very widespread even though you no longer buy it new.

Can it still be connected?

The protocol is still handled. That is not the problem: almost all of that installed base is 2G and that network is being switched off.

What do I do with a fleet of GT02s?

Check which network each device works on, sort them by the switch-off date in your area, and replace in batches, warning the customer months ahead.
