The Laipac protocol

The protocol of Laipac devices, a Canadian manufacturer from Richmond Hill founded in 1999. Its strength is not vehicles but <strong>people monitoring</strong>: personal devices and tracking bracelets.

It is spoken by the S-911, the Starfinder and the TK-201. Many add a panic button and alerts that cannot be silenced from the device itself.

Which port it comes in onOur server listens for the Laipac protocol on port 6048. That is the port you set on the device, together with the server address. Point it somewhere else and the data still leaves, but the server cannot read it.
Careful with what other sites tell youThis records people's data, often under an institutional contract. That <strong>raises the level of responsibility</strong>: a battery that lasts, tamper resistance and written notice to the person monitored are requirements, not extras.
