The ST Sunlab (Suntech) protocol

The second protocol family from ST SUNLAB, the South Korean manufacturer known as Suntech, with a huge presence in Brazil and the Southern Cone. It covers the more recent series.

It is spoken by the ST4340, ST4500 and ST940. They coexist with the same brand's earlier protocol family, which has its own page.

Which port it comes in onOur server listens for the ST Sunlab (Suntech) protocol on port 6011. That is the port you set on the device, together with the server address. Point it somewhere else and the data still leaves, but the server cannot read it. In the platform this protocol is listed as suntech.
Careful with what other sites tell youHere is this brand's trap: <strong>two similarly named series can speak different protocol families</strong>. Ask for the exact part number in writing before registering a batch, because «it's a Suntech» is not enough.
