The Startek protocol

The protocol of Startek devices — also written iStartek — a Chinese budget-range manufacturer that usually carries more inputs and outputs than its price would suggest.

It is spoken by the VT06, VT200 and AT-1. They are configured with commands, using the SIM's APN and the server address.

Which port it comes in onOur server listens for the Startek protocol on port 6222. That is the port you set on the device, together with the server address. Point it somewhere else and the data still leaves, but the server cannot read it.
Careful with what other sites tell youA device having inputs <strong>does not mean they are tested with the peripheral you want</strong>. Try the exact device, sensor and relay combination in the workshop before quoting: in this range the gap between datasheet and reality gets paid for in call-outs.
