The WondeX protocol

The protocol of WondeX devices, which is the <strong>trade name of Wonde Proud Technology's hardware</strong>, a Taiwanese manufacturer founded in 2003. Both are the same house.

It is spoken by the VT-300, VT-310 and TK-5000. The VT family goes in vehicles; there are also lines for people and for battery-powered assets.

Which port it comes in onOur server listens for the WondeX protocol on port 6032. That is the port you set on the device, together with the server address. Point it somewhere else and the data still leaves, but the server cannot read it.
Careful with what other sites tell youCatalogues list both names separately and it confuses people. When ordering spares or manuals <strong>use the exact device part number, not the brand name</strong>: that is where orders get tangled.
