Kingneed: the solar cattle collar, where nobody competes with you

Manufacturer from Guangdong with years in consumer electronics before entering tracking. Its catalogue includes the T500, a solar collar for cattle, alongside asset devices such as the TK10.

Who you sell it to: livestock farming — and by extension the farmer who also has pickups and machinery. You go in through the animal and end up tracking the whole farm.

What it earns you: a market with almost no professional competition and quantity sales: whoever fits one collar fits fifty. And the cattle farmer doesn't compare the price against a cheap tracker, he compares it against the value of a lost animal.

What to watch: the collar lives outdoors all year. Test a few through a full season before committing to a batch, and agree in writing how often it reports: whether the solar panel keeps up depends on it.

The market almost nobody sells to: tracking in agriculture, assets with no engine and what it really costs to start.
