StarLine: not tracking with security — security with tracking added

Russian manufacturer from Saint Petersburg, in the market since 1988 and the leader in its country for vehicle alarms and anti-theft: more than half of that market is theirs. It brings remote start, immobilisers and phone control.

Who you sell it to: private owners of expensive vehicles and anyone who wants real security, not just knowing where the car is.

What it earns you: a different sale at a different price. An alarm with remote start is charged as an installation, not a monthly fee, and the ticket is several times a tracker's. Combine it with your monthly service and you get both from the same customer.

What to watch: fitting an alarm with an immobiliser needs a technician who knows what he is doing. A badly wired cut-off is a car stopped in the middle of a road and a lawsuit. Never let untrained staff do it, and confirm spares availability in your country.
