The protocol of CalAmp devices, a US manufacturer well established in the North American corporate and insurance market. It shows up in deployments of thousands of vehicles, not in one-off sales.
It is spoken by the LMU and TTU families — LMU-1100, LMU-2630, LMU-3030, LMU-4230, TTU-2830. It is configured with commands, using the SIM's APN and the server address.
