The Conector OBD protocol

Not a brand: it is the <strong>family of devices that plug into the vehicle's diagnostic connector</strong>, the same one the mechanic uses. Several manufacturers make them, which is why they appear grouped.

They fit in under a minute without cutting a single wire: the customer plugs it in. Besides position they read data the vehicle's computer reports.

Which port it comes in onOur server listens for the Conector OBD protocol on port 6115. That is the port you set on the device, together with the server address. Point it somewhere else and the data still leaves, but the server cannot read it.
Careful with what other sites tell youWhat makes them easy makes them <strong>easy to remove: they come out with a tug</strong>. For usage control, rental or usage-based insurance they are ideal; for anti-theft they are no use, and selling them as such is the commonest complaint here.
