The GoSafe protocol

The protocol of GoSafe devices, a Chinese manufacturer based in Guangzhou, founded in 1999 and selling in more than a hundred countries. It sits in the mid range: more capability than the entry range, at a contained price.

It is spoken by the G family — G737, G797, G91, G6S. Besides position it supports sensors and vehicle data depending on the part number.

Which port it comes in onOur server listens for the GoSafe protocol on port 6078. That is the port you set on the device, together with the server address. Point it somewhere else and the data still leaves, but the server cannot read it.
Careful with what other sites tell youIt is the brand the customer who started cheap moves up to, so it almost always arrives with peripherals involved. Confirm which sensors are tested with the exact part number before quoting a project.

Build the configuration command

We do not have this protocol's commands yetWe would rather tell you than make them up. We only publish the ones we have checked against the manufacturer's manual or against a real device. If you have them confirmed, send them to us and we will add them.

Devices that use it

Receive this protocol on your own platform

No server to set up and nothing to program: the platform already reads this protocol. You add the brand and the domain.
