What is the Ruptela protocol used for?

Can I connect a fuel sensor to a Ruptela device?
It is one of its regular uses, and here is the detail that costs money: the sensor is installed and calibrated. A badly calibrated sensor produces data that looks right and isn't, and that destroys the customer's trust in the whole service.
Is the tachograph downloaded over this protocol?
Devices in that family cater for it. But the tachograph is not just another data field: you have to know how to read it and present it, so do not promise it without somebody who does.
