The ThinkRace protocol

The protocol of ThinkRace devices, with a catalogue split between vehicle trackers and <strong>personal devices</strong>: watches and small locators.

It is spoken by the TR02, TR06, PT30 and PT99. The personal ones report less often on purpose, because their battery is tiny.

Which port it comes in onOur server listens for the ThinkRace protocol on port 6098. That is the port you set on the device, together with the server address. Point it somewhere else and the data still leaves, but the server cannot read it.
Careful with what other sites tell youOn the personal units, the number one complaint is the battery. Ask how long it lasts <strong>on the setting they will actually configure</strong>, not in the best case, and tell the customer before selling.
