The Topin protocol

The protocol of Topin devices, very much the budget end: tiny locators such as the ZX303, A9 and S06, among the most sold direct to the public online.

They are configured by text message or from a manufacturer app. Many report approximate antenna position as well as satellite, to save battery.

Which port it comes in onOur server listens for the Topin protocol on port 6199. That is the port you set on the device, together with the server address. Point it somewhere else and the data still leaves, but the server cannot read it.
Careful with what other sites tell you<strong>You will meet it already bought, not sold by you.</strong> A customer turns up with the device in hand asking you to make it work. Don't sell the hardware there: sell the platform and the support, and don't warrant something you did not sell.
